The Penycae Inn is a hidden treasure nestled at the upper end of the Swansea Valley, in the idyllic hamlet of Penycae. Located just 30 minutes from Swansea and the M4, it lies centrally to the many attractions of the Brecon Beacons and provides the most stunning backdrop to any occasion. We have spent many years collecting some wonderful animals for you to see. Access to the zoo is free, all we ask is you consider us for lunch too! ​All these animals can be found within our grounds there is also a haven for young children to play whilst parents can relax with a drink or try our award winning food. The pub has been lovingly restored to its former glory, incorporating the values of traditional pub hospitality together with a comfortably stylish interior, showcasing a symphony of local stone, slate and green oak. Our great passion is food. Our menu is simple and contemporary using only the very best ingredients and seasonal produce. We haven’t introduced fresh water and sewerage at present time
