Traditional English pub on the edge of the Peak District, 3 miles from the main town of Macclesfield and with easy access to Goyt Valley, Buxton & Castleton. FOOD served: Weds, Thurs & Fri 12-3pm & 5.30 to 8.30pm Sat 10am to 4pm & 5.30 to 8.30pm Sun 10am to 5pm Please park on the left hand side of car park, near the container. You may need wedges as there is a slight incline. If travelling from Macclesfield on the B5470, the pub is on your left - turn down the small lane at the fork and the pub carpark driveway is in front of you. Travelling from Buxton towards Macclesfield on the same road, you will need to pass the pub (on your right) and head for Round Meadow, which is a loop back onto the main road and allows you to avoid sharp turns. You can then follow the above instructions to enter the car park.
