The Old Mill is a converted Mill House set in the peaceful countryside, nestled in its own valley, tucked away in 100 acres of beautiful County Durham countryside between Consett, Lanchester and a short drive from Durham City and Newcastle. The Old Mill at Knitsley offers unparalleled beauty and relaxation the whole year round.
Our kitchen is serving fresh home-made food, prepared from locally sourced ingredients, we also offer a full á la carté menu, Sunday roasts, afternoon teas, alongside a lighter lunch and a sandwich menu.
